  Brazil Visa Requirements

1. A valid original passport with a validity of at least 6 months with 2 blank visa pages
2. A completed visa application form with signature
3. A digital copy of one recent passport sized colour photo
4. A clear digital copy of the passport bio page
5. A detailed flight itinerary showing applicant's full name
6. Accommodation booking
7. Have proof of sufficient funds


Visa Application Form

Please note when completing the visa application form, an incomplete or incorrect completion of the visa application form can cause delays, in certain cases you may be required to complete a new visa application form.


Passport

Please ensure your original passport has a validity of at least 6 months with a minimum of 2 blank visa pages. This will avoid any complications at the airport check-in, customs and immigration checkpoints.


Photo

You need to provide a recent passport size colour photo taken within the last 6 months. The photo size must be 35mm(Width) x 45mm(Height)


Flight Itinerary

You are required to provide a copy of your flight itinerary showing your full name, with details of your entry and exit dates.


When to Apply

It is recommended to apply for your Brazil visa at least 3 months before your date of arrival into Brazil. Brazil processing times are a minimum of 10 working days (it can take longer during high season) and are processed on queue and priority basis. There is no urgent processing offered by the Embassy and Consulate so please ensure sufficient time before your departure date from Australia when lodging your application.


Visa Validity and Duration

Brazil visas are valid for 12 months from date of issue and you are allowed a maximum stay of up to 90 days from your date of arrival into Brazil. Visitors can remain in Brazil up to a maximum of 180 days in any 12 period counted from the day of first entry in Brazil. All Brazil visas are issued as a 12 months multiple validity.

Extensions for a further 90 days may be requested at the Brazilian Federal Police before the visa expires and authorised at their discretion.


Processing Time

When applying please note that there is no urgent processing option for this visa. Please take into account of any public holiday closures when submitting your visa application.
