Entry to Greece
• Travellers no longer require a COVID-19 certificate for entry into Greece.
• Australian nationals can enter the country visa-free for up to 90 days in a 180-day period.
• Entry into the country from the Republic of North Macedonia may be denied.
• Conditions of entry may change abruptly. Travellers are advised to contact the nearest embassy or consulate of Greece for more details.
Staying in Greece
• Greece does not currently have any COVID-19 requirements in place.

Greece Tourist Visa Exemption
Cyprus passport holders are visa exempted to enter Greece under the Schengen visa scheme. You can stay up to 90 days within a period of 180 days (6 months), after which you will need to leave the Schengen country you are in. You will be eligible to enter the Schengen area again once you have spent more then 6 months out of these countries. Both the entrance and the exit can be done from different Schengen countries.
Cyprus passport holders are visa exempted for up to 90 days provided the traveller:
- hold a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months with minimum 2 blank visa pages
- have sufficient funds for the trip
- have proof of onward/return flights
- have all necessary documents for the purpose of entry
Need a visa to stay beyond the exempted period ?
The Embassy of Greece requires that the applicant submit their visa application directly if the applicant wishes to stay beyond the exempted period.
