Entry to France
• Since 14/03/2022, travellers no longer require a COVID certificate for entry into France.

• However, a negative virological test may be reintroduced for travellers arriving from countries deemed to be at risk if a dangerous COVID variant appears.

• Australian nationals can travel visa-free for up to 90 days in a 180-day period.

• Conditions of entry may change abruptly. Travellers are advised to contact the nearest embassy or consulate of France for more details.

Staying in France
• Travellers should exercise a high degree of caution due to the high and significant threat of terrorism.

Departure from France
• Conditions of departure may change abruptly. Travellers are advised to contact the nearest embassy or consulate of France for more details.

Important note France Tourist Visa Exemption

Croatia passport holders are visa exempted for up to 90 days provided the traveller:

  • hold a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months with minimum 2 blank visa pages
  • have sufficient funds for the trip
  • have proof of onward/return flights
  • have all necessary documents for the purpose of entry

Need a visa to stay beyond the exempted period ?

The Embassy of France requires that the applicant submit their visa application directly if the applicant wishes to stay beyond the exempted period.
