Important note Argentina Tourist Visa Exemption

Canada passport holders are visa exempted for up to 90 days provided the traveller:

  • hold a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months with minimum 2 blank visa pages
  • have sufficient funds for the trip
  • have proof of onward/return flights
  • have all necessary documents for the purpose of entry

You are required to pay a reciprocity fee of USD $100 prior to departure.

Please follow the instructions to register, complete the required form and pay the reciprocity fee. You will need to print the receipt and take it with you.

Failure to provide proper documentation and proof of payment upon arrival will result in denial of entry and a return to your point of embarkation.

Need a visa to stay beyond the exempted period ?

The Embassy of the Argentine Republic requires that the applicant submit their visa application directly if the applicant wishes to stay beyond the exempted period.
