Entry to Vietnam
• Vietnam has resumed international travel and is accepting foreign nationals.
• Negative COVID-19 test results are no longer required for entry into Vietnam.
• Some airlines may still require a negative COVID-19 test before boarding. Check with your airline for the latest requirements.
• Entry and exit requirements may change suddenly. For up-to-date information, contact the nearest Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate.
Staying in Vietnam
• Nationwide social distancing and health monitoring measures have been implemented in Vietnam to decrease COVID-19 transmission.
• There are restrictions in place to reduce the virus spread, including mandatory mask-wearing and isolation requirements for positive cases and close contacts.
• It is compulsory to wear a mask in all indoor and outdoor public areas, including supermarkets, airports, and public transport. Failure to do so may result in fines or detention.
• Community transmission cases of COVID-19 are still happening throughout Vietnam. If you test positive for COVID-19 in Vietnam, you must isolate, and if you're a close contact, you must monitor your health closely.

Departure from Vietnam
• If domestic and international flights are disrupted or local movement restrictions are imposed at short notice, contact your airline or travel provider for the latest information.

Chile passport holders are visa exempted for up to provided the traveller:
- hold a valid passport with a validity of at least 6 months with 2 blank visa pages
- have proof of sufficient funds for the trip
- have proof of onward/return flights
- have all necessary documents for the purpose of entry
Chile diplomatic and official passport holders are visa exempt for up to 90 days.
